The school transformed from a coaching center into Ferscoat Nursery and Primary School. Due to the dedication and hard work of the staff and students, the school quickly became well-known. The school is looking to hire an English Tutor in Ipaja, Lagos, to join their excellent members of staff.

Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities for an English Tutor in Ipaja:
- Tutoring: Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, focusing on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and spoken English.
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Assessment: Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students and parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably to non-native speakers.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
